How it Works
Fill a clear jar with identical small baby items (mini socks, safety pins, or pacifiers). Guests write their estimate of how many are inside. Closest to the exact count wins the jar and its contents.
Instructions
Fill the Jar
Fill a large clear glass jar with uniform small items — count exactly as you go and note the total. Seal and display prominently.
Set Out Slips
Provide small slips of paper and pens beside the jar. Guests write their name and guess and drop it in a separate bowl.
Guess All Event
Leave the jar and guess bowl accessible throughout the shower. Guests can think it over and guess at any point.
Reveal the Count
Near the end of the shower, reveal the exact count. The closest guesser (without going over, or by absolute difference) wins the jar.
