How it Works
Set up a time capsule station where guests contribute small items — a current newspaper, a handwritten note, a photo. Everything goes in a sealed box to be opened on the child's 18th birthday.
Instructions
Prepare the Capsule
Find a durable box or tin. Pre-fill it with a current newspaper, a photo of the parents, and a note from the host.
Set Up the Station
Place the box at a table with blank cards, pens, and a list of suggested items guests can contribute (concert tickets, labels, photos).
Guests Contribute
Encourage guests to write a letter to the child or include a small item that represents the world right now.
Seal & Label
Seal the box together at the end. Write "Open on [Name]'s 18th Birthday" on the lid. Present it as the final gift.
